Lymphatic Drainage or Stagnation

Keep the Lymph Clear

Lymphatic Movement is so important. We can build up non-problematic fluid in our lymph system and sometimes if not moved properly it can lead to other issues. Have you ever had a swollen lymph node in our throat when you’re sick? Massage is an excellent way to get that moving. Always massage gently towards the heart.

Let It Go – Lymph Roller

  • Rosemary Oil: is well-known for its ability to stimulate blood and lymph circulation, helping to move stagnant fluid and  toxins. It also helps relieve pain and muscle tension.
  • Calendula Oil: is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent and a “lymphagogue,” meaning it directly promotes lymph fluid movement and drainage. Calendula was the obvious choice in creating this blend. It is especially good for reducing swelling and promoting tissue healing.
  • Cinnamon : stimulates lymph flow and metabolism, acting as a warming agent that enhances blood circulation. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects help in reducing swelling and assisting in the excretion of connective tissue toxins.
  • Lemon : is a key detoxifier, lemon oil stimulates lymphatic drainage and helps the body cleanse itself of waste products. It has diuretic properties which help reduce fluid retention.
  • Peppermint : provides a cooling sensation and pain relief while also stimulating blood flow. Its anti-inflammatory properties help reduce inflammation and ease lymph fluid flow through nodes.
  • Frankincense : acts as a strong anti-inflammatory, which is crucial for reducing inflammation around the joints and throughout tissues, thereby easing the movement of lymph fluid.

Altogether

In combination, these ingredients create a potent blend that addresses the multifaceted needs of the lymphatic system, from stimulating fluid movement to reducing inflammation and supporting detoxification pathways.

Rebounding on a small trampoline and/or doing heel drops is an excellent way to help stimulate the flow of the lymph fluid. I also like to do dry brushing before a bath or shower to get my system flowing.
