I created this herbal tea because I was spending so much money on Nighty Night Tea (although an amazing product by an amazing woman, I am an herbalist and have all the right herbs on hand so I said why not). An herbal tea blend like AnxieTea containing Valeriana officinalis (valerian), Passiflora incarnata (passionflower), Matricaria chamomilla (chamomile), Rosa spp. (rose), Humulus lupulus (hops), and Mentha spicata (spearmint) offers a synergistic combination of botanicals traditionally used to support relaxation and promote restful sleep. Valerian root is well-documented for its sedative properties, as it enhances GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) activity in the brain, which helps calm the nervous system. Passionflower works in a complementary way, also increasing GABA levels and reducing symptoms of anxiety. Chamomile, rich in the antioxidant apigenin, binds to receptors in the brain that may reduce insomnia and foster relaxation. AnxieTea was created out of both practicality and passion. After spending a small fortune on calming tea blends, I realized I already had every herb in my apothecary to create something just as soothing. This tea combines botanicals that herbalists and healers have leaned on for centuries to calm the mind, ease tension, and invite restful sleep.

How to Use
