Hormone Harmony – Balancing Cream

$15.00

2 oz

This blend first came to me years ago when I was reading about wild yam and I did not do anything with it at the time. Cut to years later and basically everyone I knew was asking when I was going to make a hormone cream like they had been seeing online. So I hit the books and developed this beautiful blend.

Wild yam and chaste berry infused oils are known for supporting progesterone production and balancing estrogen, which can help regulate menstrual cycles and alleviate PMS symptoms. Anytime we can address the female cycle this aids in the hormonal balance. Shea butter and vitamin E oil nourish the skin and provide a smooth, easily absorbed base for the blend, enhancing its effectiveness. Frankincense and clary sage essential oils can support endocrine health by reducing stress, which plays a crucial role in hormone regulation. Peppermint essential oil adds a cooling sensation, aiding in circulation, and delivering the active ingredients deeply into the skin. When massaged over areas rich in endocrine glands, like the throat (thyroid), thighs, and stomach, this blend can naturally support the body’s hormonal balance.

Rotate application locations 1-2 times a day on thyroid, inner thighs and lower abdomen.

Hormone Harmony

A Nourishing Herbal Body Butter

Hormone Harmony is a handcrafted blend that combines tradition, research, and skin-loving botanicals. This soothing body butter is infused with Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa) and Chaste Berry (Vitex agnus-castus) oils, then blended into a creamy base of shea butter and vitamin E. To enhance the effects, I added Frankincense (Boswellia carterii), Peppermint (Mentha × piperita), and Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea) essential oils. The result is a deeply nourishing cream that supports hormone balance while leaving your skin soft and radiant.

The Science of Wild Yam & Chaste Berry

Wild Yam does not contain estrogen and does not convert to progesterone in the body. Instead, it contains diosgenin, a phytoestrogen with estrogen-modulating activity. Historically, Mexican Wild Yam was even used in the first contraceptive pills before synthetics were developed. While modern studies confirm diosgenin does not transform into progesterone naturally, it remains a valuable ally when paired with other herbs. Chaste Berry has been studied for its ability to support luteinizing hormone and balance estrogen-progesterone ratios, often used for PMS and cycle regulation.

A Holistic Approach

Shea butter and vitamin E nourish the skin, ensuring smooth application and rapid absorption. Frankincense and clary sage are traditionally known for supporting endocrine health and easing stress, a key factor in hormone disruption. I love using Peppermint because it adds a refreshing cooling effect and may enhances circulation, helping deliver the herbal benefits deeper into tissues.

How to Use

Massage a small amount into rotating areas rich in endocrine glands—thyroid, inner thighs, and lower abdomen—1 to 2 times daily. This blend works for both men and women and may be especially supportive during life’s transitional years.

Folklore & Pairings

In folk traditions, Wild Yam was valued for digestion, muscle cramps, and menopausal discomforts. Today, Hormone Harmony pairs beautifully with Dr. Sleep, Calm the Storm, or Detoxicity Tea for whole-body support.
