Intestinal Bugout Elixir

$10.00

This Intestinal Bugout Elixir is a very different take on a traditional herbal recipe used throughout history to expel unwanted visitors from our intestines. Worms and parasites can seem like a third world problem, but I assure you they are not.

I love doing a juice cleanse right before a parasite cleanse, but as always consult your healthcare provider before starting any natural remedy or protocol.

Why I Created the Intestinal Bugout Elixir

I designed Intestinal Bugout Elixir for those who want to get as close as possible to wellness homeostasis. Historically, herbalists have turned to “bitters” and others to support the body’s natural defenses against unwanted visitors. This elixir follows a traditional 4:1 alcohol-to-water menstruum (using pure Everclear and filtered water) and a potent 3:5 herb-to-liquid ratio, ensuring a concentrated extract that captures both the volatile oils and the deep resins of these powerful botanicals.

The Botanicals:

I’ve selected these six specific herbs because they work synergistically to support gut hygiene and digestive vigor.

Common Name Scientific Name Traditional Use & Rationale
Black Walnut Hull Juglans nigra Contains juglone, historically used in folk medicine to create an inhospitable environment for microbes.
Wormwood Artemisia absinthium Famous for its extreme bitterness; scientific studies on thujone suggest it supports intestinal clearance.
Cilantro Coriandrum sativum Used in modern herbalism as a “chelator” to support the movement of heavy metals and toxins. Sorry to your soap people.
Licorice Root Glycyrrhiza glabra Provides a soothing “mucilaginous” layer to protect the gut lining from irritation during the cleanse.
Peppermint Mentha piperita Rich in menthol, which relaxes the digestive tract and reduces temporary gas or cramping.
Clove Syzygium aromaticum High in eugenol; historically used to target the “eggs” or hardy cycles of intestinal intruders.

The Science and Folklore of Gut Hygiene

I rely on a blend of ethnobotanical history and modern phytochemical research. For instance, Wormwood(Artemisia) has been documented for centuries in European and Chinese medicine as a primary agent for expelling heat and dampness (parasitic conditions). Modern research into Artemisia species often focuses on their ability to disrupt the cellular membranes of unwanted organisms.

I include Clove because, in folk traditions, it is the clean-up crew. While other herbs address the adult cycle, clove’s volatile oils are historically prized for their ability to penetrate and break down resilient biological structures. Together, this combination creates a sweep that encourages the body’s natural elimination pathways.

How to Use: The Kill-Bind-Sweat Protocol

To get the most out of this elixir, I recommend (of my own personal experience and my own education with no degree) following the Kill-Bind-Sweat method. This ensures that as you “evict” unwanted guests, your body effectively removes the debris.

  1. KILL (The Elixir): Take 1–2 dropperfuls of Intestinal Bugout Elixir in a small amount of water, 20 minutes before meals, 3 times per day. (Traditional cycle: 10 days on, 5 days off, 10 days on).

  2. BIND: 30–60 minutes after taking the elixir, take a “binder” (like activated charcoal, bentonite clay, or modified citrus pectin). This “mops up” the toxins released so they don’t recirculate.

  3. SWEAT: Daily movement, dry brushing, or saunas are essential. You must move your lymph and open your pores to ensure toxins leave the body through the skin and breath.
