The first attempt at this I created a completely different recipe and while it was good I knew it could be great. So after about a month of testing out different butters and oils here we are. This is a go-to in my house.

The ingredients I chose for this recipe are historically known to support magnesium deficiency and promote restful sleep. Magnesium brine, absorbed through the skin, is a powerful way to boost magnesium levels, which can help relax muscles, reduce tension, and support the nervous system which are key factors in alleviating insomnia and promoting deeper sleep. Lavender-infused oil and lavender essential oil are widely valued for their calming, sedative properties that ease anxiety and create a soothing bedtime atmosphere. Mango butter and beeswax provide a moisturizing base, creating a gentle, long-lasting balm that allows for sustained absorption of the active ingredients. Valerian and Roman chamomile essential oils are known to be deeply calming and are traditional remedies for reducing restlessness, while Ylang ylang essential oil adds a sweet floral note that further reduces stress and enhances relaxation. This body butter was created for the sole purpose of relaxing the mind and body and promoting a restful night’s sleep while naturally addressing magnesium deficiency.
